Bad Intruder of the Day: Let’s see: 1. Breaks in to house. 2. Takes a shower. 3. Locks himself in the bathroom when the homeowner arrives. 4. Calls the police out of concern for his own safety. 5. Waits around for police and gets taken into custody “without incident.” I’m no expert on crime, but I’m thinking Mr. Chapek may want to reconsider his line of work.

Oh, and as for the weapon: “[Police] did not say if the homeowner did in fact have a gun.”
